Bio
Anna Rita is a Master's Thesis student in Mechanical Engineering working on EMG and sonomyography as a control method for amputees who have undergone Targeted Muscle Reinnervation surgery for the prevention of Neuroma and phantom pain (N-TMR). She has an interest in sensory feedback and "closing the loop" for robotic control and her thesis is focused on kinesthetic illusion for a sensation of motion.
September 2023: started a PhD program at University of Alberta
