Bio

My work studies the interactions between humans and autonomous robotic systems. Robots need to make decisions using an understanding of their human counterparts to enable genuinely collaborative relationships. In this research, we measure changes in a human's cognitive state as robots perform different actions to form an interaction model. In future work, robots can use these models as a cost function to accomplish a collaborative task more gracefully.
