Maya Geva-Sagiv, PhD

Maya Geva-Sagiv, BSc, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher exploring how hippocampal interaction with cortical areas, during sleep and wake, supports the natural creation of memory in humans. Among her experimental methods are deep brain electrical stimulation combined with single-neuron recordings (iEEG with patient population) and fMRI with healthy subjects. Her other research interests include the usage of spatial cognition as a naturalistic behavioral tool to study the establishment of complex memories.
Dr. Geva-Sagiv is a Human Frontier Science Program postdoctoral fellow.
