I am working on investigating the fine microstructures of cross-modal audio and visual attention using multimodal imaging in the human brain, with an aim to develop a better understanding of how the Dorsal Attention Network (DAN) interacts with different sensory cortices. In addition to that, I express a keen interest in how the primate visual system processes relevant information during focused attention, and how these mechanisms can be implemented in the modern state-of-the-art deep neural networks to improve their performance.
